A hand up not a hand out

"

Nwabisa, Bake for Profit Khayelitsha Graduate

"Learn to Earn has changed my life a lot, I know that I will never go and work for someone again. Where I used to work I was paid R120 per day but now I make R400 to R500 a day which is way more than what I used to earn. I am grateful for this skill; it has done wonders in my life."

Lydia, Basic Sewing Khayelitsha Graduate

"My family's life has improved since graduating because now I am the safe space for my family unlike before."

Nomfesane, Bake for Profit Khayelitsha Graduate

"Learn to Earn helped a lot because now I have a business that actually works for me. They restored my hope, opened my mind to having a business. I have gained confidence to stand in front of people and sell my baked products. I don't go to bed hungry, and I can also assist with the running of my household."

Lelethu, Basic Sewing Khayelitsha Graduate

"I have grown spiritually and my relationship with a family member has improved, as I now know how to handle them, thanks to the life skills lessons."
