2016 Thundafund Campaign
In November 2016 we ran a Thundafund fundraising campaign to raise R75 000 via the crowdfunding platform. We are excited to announce that campaign was a success! With days to go we made the target, and even better news, we had a matching giver, which allowed us to purchase a second machine and grinder. 2011 Carte Blanche report
In February 2011, Roché van Wyk, Learn to Earn's Director was interviewed by M-Net's magazine and actuality programme Carte Blanche regarding the impact of South Africa's 2011 National Budget on Not for Profits.
2011 IFWA anti-ivory campaign
In 2011 Learn to Earn was chosen by The International Fund for Animal Welfare to create 100 000 elephant badges. Over 200 ladies across the Peninsula hand sewed elephant badges to be handed out in the UK, Europe, USA during IFWA's fundraising and anti-ivory poaching awareness campaign. IFWA's South African Communications Manager Christina Pretorius put together a brief video overview of the project.
